About Rand

Rand Leeb-du Toit is a South African born photographer and writer. His work is characterised by its highly emotional, intimate, and spiritual content.

Rand lives in Sydney with his wife and has two sons. He is eternally grateful to his heart transplant donor for giving him the gift of life.

Rand has been writing since he could pick up a pencil and fell in love with photography when he inherited his grandfather’s Leica camera in the 70’s. Over 40 years later he still loses himself behind the camera, but his perspective has been refined by a lifetime of entrepreneurial experience and multiple near death experiences.
