It’s been more than a while since I posted and communicated with many of you. Life can intervene, and in so many ways it has done that time and again over the last few years. I’ve been focused on my health and, when I’ve been able to, I’ve tried to slowly exercise my writing muscles. I’m pleased to let you know that the result of this focus is my first novel, Writ Large, which I will begin serialising from early November 2022 on Conked.io.

What, you may well ask, is a writing syndicate?
Stay tuned and in the lead up to the launch of Writ Large, I’ll give you a whirlwind tour of syndicates, which have been around for centuries. Writing syndicates could well provide a shift in the publishing balance of power, which for far too long has led to the writer being subservient to the publishing machine.
You will be pleased to know that my intention is for Conked to remain a free platform for the foreseeable future. My aim is to get my books into the hands of passionate readers and writers and spark debate and discussion.
On a personal note, I love hearing from friends so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I know it can seem awkward to interact with a heart transplant survivor. What do you say? How will he react? Please don’t give it another thought. I’d be happy to shoot the breeze with you.
