As we step into the new year, I’m excited to share some of the incredible progress we’ve made with Days to Live! Over the break, the team and I have been hard at work strategizing and preparing for what promises to be an impactful 2025.
Thinking Lateral, Reaching Global
One of the biggest challenges with Days to Live is its global scope. With participants from all over the world, our goal has always been to take portraits in person. However, to reach more participants and keep the project moving forward, we’ve embraced a creative solution: remote photo shoots.
Using innovative tools, we’re now able to collaborate with participants wherever they are. While in-person shoots remain our preference, this approach allows us to include more inspiring stories while leaving the door open to meet face-to-face in the future.
Our First International Collaboration
We’re thrilled to announce our first international collaboration with the incredible team at HeartCharged, who are hell bent on ending deaths from undiagnosed heart conditions! Through this partnership, we’re connecting with individuals who have implanted defibrillators—a device I relied on for five years. Their stories of resilience and strength resonate deeply with the mission of Days to Live.
This partnership is just the beginning of our journey to engage with communities worldwide and share their extraordinary stories.
A Supporter’s Birthday Gift to Days to Live
We’re honored to share that a dear friend and longtime supporter has chosen Days to Live as the focus of her annual GoFundMe campaign. Each year, she selects a deserving cause to champion for her birthday, and we’re beyond grateful that she’s dedicating her efforts to support this project. We’ll share more details soon.
Calling for Collaborations and Participants
Days to Live is about connection, and we’re actively seeking further collaborations to spread the love and source participants. Do you know someone whose story could inspire others? We’re looking for individuals with compelling journeys of resilience, including:
• Heart transplant recipients and individuals with implantable defibrillators.
• Survivors of life-threatening illnesses or significant adversity.
• Advocates for mental health and well-being.
• Creative changemakers who channel their experiences into art or advocacy.
• Everyday heroes who’ve overcome challenges to live boldly and fully.
If you or someone you know would like to be part of this project, we’d love to hear from you! Simply reach out via the Days to Live website.
Thank You for Being Part of This Journey
Your support means everything to us. Whether it’s through kind words, sharing the project, or joining us as a participant, you’re helping Days to Live grow into a global movement that celebrates resilience and inspires hope.
Here’s to an extraordinary year ahead!
