Surf Ballet, Part I
Photo Essay, Travel Photography, Leica Cameras, Seascape Photography, Surf Photography, Ocean Photography, Sydney, Surfing
The payoff of constantly tracking the swell is that when a large pulse is inbound I’m ready for it. This paid off in spades with another Gnarly Tuesday, that turned into Big Wednesday here in Sydney. I won’t name the surf break in these photos, but suffice it to say it does not break unless there is a really big swell running.
Some of the non surfing shots were taken around Coogee and Maroubra on Tuesday afternoon. There were moments when I couldn’t tell if I was being drenched in spray or it was raining (or both). Wednesday morning saw me grinning from ear to ear constantly. For me as a veteran surfer, this session was good as it gets. I’ve got a few more photos to share and will do so in Part II.
