Splitting into two teams, one led by Lucas, they race to claim a flag on a high point on the island. It starts smoothly, but human error and the weather have other ideas
I liked the action in this chapter. Loved that my girl Olivia pushed herself to excel and win the flag despite her injuries, and being surrounded by past winners.
Who knew Jeff Probst hosts Survivor on his personal time? Makes me wonder if he keeps immunity idols in his pockets. Loved the chapter, and the interplay between the characters. I would read a book of Olivia being a contestant on Survivor!
What excitement! This was an action packed chapter for sure. I felt like I was in the jungle with them! Weather, injuries, difficulties, all very believable and entertaining. Fantastic!
Lucas is far more calm than I would be in that situation. It's a good balance to the energy of the contestants and Olivia. Soaking wet trying to trudge through a jungle sounds terrible. And the chapter ends on a cliffhanger so I'm interested to hear the next chapter to see what happens. Very interesting characters.
