It was helpful to broaden the world the author created by adding in Lucas's writing group The Syndicate. And the narrator did a good job as always of creating different voices for each character in the group. Lucas is really humble and down to earth, very relatable. Good chapter, cool storyline with the Abe Saffron book spin. Missing people, murder, intrigue, mafia. Good stuff!
Finally a look at the Syndicate, very cool! I like that they have different looks and personalities. I felt like I could see them in my mind. And the mobster story is really interesting, a fun interjection into the lunch conversation. It's all been about biographies so far, so this expands what we know about the writings of the group.
